We traveled 181 miles from Kikuyu to Maua. It took eight hours including lunch and rest stops. In the US it would take about 31/2 hours.
There are several reasons why.
People in the way.
Animals and carts in the way.
Motorcycles in the way.
Big trucks in the way.
Our car is limited to 50 mph because it is a vehicle for hire.
